Want to create your own winter wreath from scratch? Whether you're feeling creative, or just want to save some money, I will show you a step by step, "do it yourself" process on how to create your own winter wreath. I will document each step in the process, and if you follow along, you'll be able to create a beautiful winter wreath just like I did.

Before you get started, however, I need you to double check you have the correct tools for the job. Click here for a brief introduction to the aspiring floral arranger's "must have" tools.

Next, let's take a look at what we'll need for this wreath.

First, you'll need a wreath base of artificial evergreens. You can use any size that you like, but here I've used a 20 inch base (keep in mind that if you use a significantly larger or smaller wreath base, you may need to adjust the amount of materials required)...

Next, you'll need about 6 large pine cones...

Next you'll need one bundle of fresh curly willow (your local flower shop will carry this - there are about 10 stems in a bundle)...

The next item on your list is some sprigs of artificial blueberries (you'll need about 5 of these)...

And some lime green berries (I bought one bush of these, and separated them up)...

And one last thing; in addition to the tools I mentioned earlier, you'll also need some 20 gauge florist's wire. Any craft store or flower shop will be able to sell you some...
