How To Create A Beautiful Autumn / Fall Wreath: Step 1

Before we begin, I want to share with you is my number one tip for creating a wreath like this is this: start with one item.

On this wreath we'll start with the apple picks, and use all of them before we add any other items. This way you will never have too much of one material in one spot. When you are finished building the wreath, it will be "balanced" and you will not have any empty or "bald" spots where you ran out of one item or another. With that said, let's gets started building...

Step 1:

Take one of your apple picks and slide it under a jute twine, making sure it is facing up...

Insert the stem into the grapevine wreath and then push it all the way in until the large apple touches the jute twine...

Step 2:

Curve the stem where all the fruit and berries are so it blends with the shape of the wreath...

Step 3:

Take your next stem of the apple pick, and starting where the tip of the last apple pick ended, insert under the jute twine. Continue this pattern all the way around the wreath until you have covered the grapevine base...
